My Mission
Support Your Legacy of Growth & Excellence
At Anchor View Capital, my mission is to acquire and personally lead one outstanding American business, preserving its culture and people while compounding long-term value. I’m backed by a group of seasoned investors with the capacity to fund up to $35 million in acquisition and growth capital. That support allows me to move quickly, close with confidence, and tailor a transition that keeps what makes the company special while investing in systems and operational excellence that help it thrive for decades.
Our Process
1
Get To Know You, The Owner
1-2 weeks
We start with a straightforward conversation about you, the company’s history, what matters to your team and customers, and your goals for the next chapter. No pressure; just fit and facts.
2
Align On Initial Terms
2-3 Weeks
With light information, I complete a preliminary analysis and propose a clear, fair LOI that balances certainty, timeline, and a transition plan that works for you and your team.
3
Perform Diligence
6-12 Weeks
We run an efficient, respectful diligence process across financial, commercial, and legal areas. I coordinate workstreams to minimize disruption and keep employees and customers at the center of the plan.
4
Close Transaction
2-4 Weeks
Finalize the closing price and legal documentation to transfer the funds and complete the transaction.

We implement a seller-friendly transition that maintains continuity for employees and customers, with an agreed role for you.

Matt Rothberg
A Successful Operator Ready to Continue Your Legacy
I started my career fixing computers out of the back of my car - initially just helping neighbors and friends on Long Island solve their tech headaches. As the calls multiplied, it turned into something real: I founded a small IT services business and quickly learned to scale beyond myself. Before long, I was managing a team, introducing standardized processes, and serving hundreds of homes, local businesses, and senior-care facilities. After years of steady growth, loyal clients, and valuable lessons about pricing, margins, and service excellence, I successfully sold my book of business to a local operator.
My next chapters took me into the heart of enterprise tech. At Cisco, I dove deep into complex networks where milliseconds could mean millions of dollars—trading floors, disaster recovery trucks, and edge computing environments. I learned the ropes of navigating large organizations, partnering with demanding clients, and turning intricate technical problems into clear, practical solutions.
After Cisco, I joined WWT, stepping into a global role leading complex commercial accounts. There, I sharpened my skills running cross-functional teams and saw firsthand how critical operational discipline is - especially around pricing, procurement, and logistics - to drive consistent profitability and customer satisfaction.
Now, backed by experienced investors with the capacity to fund acquisitions up to $35 million, I'm coming back to what I love most: hands-on leadership. I founded Anchor View Capital to find and buy one great business - one built to last, with loyal employees, strong customer relationships, and plenty of room to grow with the right investments in time and capital. My goal is straightforward: preserve the legacy, empower the team already there, and thoughtfully introduce systems and strategies that will compound cash flow year after year.
